Funny, this Canadian was in Washington a couple weeks ago and had trouble ordering in English because the counter staff mostly spoke Spanish (we got there, just needed patience).

When I call most US companies; large ones especially, service is offered in English and Spanish.

I don't think most American's know it, and many may not like it, but it seems to this outsider who comes from a country with two official languages that you're well on your way to the same.

In my view that's not a bad thing!
