"Credit Card Presentation" requirement
I have experienced this 'requirement' recently as I was unable to perform OLCI for a flight to NBO this past August. At the check in counter they informed me it was due to trying to overcome credit card fraud.
While purchasing another ticket to NBO for January, I received the notice while in the purchasing process that I must present my ID and the credit card that I used. Which I did a few days ago while I was at the check in counter for another flight.
So that's twice in less than 12 months on Intl itins. Have not experienced this on domestic, yet.
