Nowhere does the US Constitution, the Bill of Rights, or any of its Amendments, nor any federal law state that English is the
official language of the USA.
At best, it's a
de facto national language, akin to how Protestant Christianity is like a de facto national religion, despite the fact that no official religion exists.
