So I get mail urging me to unite my UA MP and CO OP accounts together. The problem is that I didn't know I even had a OP account! I must have taken the flights a long time ago, and I don't even know if I have any miles in the OP account. So I go to the website that allows me to look up my account number.

Here's the problem. I have moved and changed phone numbers, email addresses since I first opened up that OP account, and the only email addresses that I currently use were denied as being on the account. So I try an old non-existing phone number, and the page says that my number was emailed to my email address on the account. Well, that wasn't going to work. So I called CO to see if they could look up my account on the phone. After 31 minutes on hold, I hung up. I guess I'll wait until the mad rush dies down. Sheesh. Either that or I won't bother to link the accounts because I'm pretty positive that any miles in that OP are probably long expired.
