Information on parking is one of the benefits of a site like trip advisor or some of the other review sites out there. I know if I'm reviewing a place, I always mention the parking if there was an issue with it.

I'm sure there's some type of formula they have to determine the number of parking spaces based on number of rooms to be listed as free parking. While they should say something like tiny lot if you get there early you need to illegally park and risk being towed the next morning, but the marketing types may see that as not really helping business.

I don't think you have any recourse as they have free parking, but it was just full.
