Congrats! These tickets are one of the best value redemptions available on any alliance, and LX/TG have great F products - esp the LX A333 out of YUL. Make sure to have a glass or three of the Grand Siecle champagne on board LX.

I think if you are connecting domestic to Int'l F within 24 hrs of the int'l flight then you are entitled to lounge access. The relevant int'l segment would be either EWR-YUL or YUL-ZRH - I'm not sure if the Canada flights count as int'l for RCC/President's Club purposes.

That being said, you aren't missing much from these domestic lounges. They are best for a free newspaper and drink and ... packaged cheese. Really not worth it, especially compared to the ZRH FCL

I don't advocate frequent ticket changes given agent ineptitude but if you wait till closer to departure TG will probably open up MUC-BKK and by that point the schedule may have switched from 744 to the new 773 with Suites.
