Yes. The riverside area is the best place to be in BKK on NYE lots of gala parties at the hotels and big fireworks between Pen/MO, Millennium Hilton/ROS, and near Shangri-La. Alternatively, you could joint the countdown crowds at Central World Plaza in Ratchaprasong, for concerts and something a bit more like Times Square. And, of course, Silom and the party sois on Sukhumvit are rocking too.
