My husband and I have the following Aeroplan booked itinerary coming up:

YYZ-YVR (stop)
YVR-SYD (open-jaw)
AKL-SYD-YVR-(14 hour layover)-YYZ

We plan to keep some luggage with family in YVR and claim it on the way back during our 14 hour layover. Will there be any issue checking them in at YVR for the last leg back to YYZ, given that we will have other bags checked through from AKL, and the given that the return through YVR is not considered a stopover?
