O.K. folks, I did receive a response and although it was not completely satisfactory in that it does not provide lounge access for Gold members, it states that one should expect more than the bare bones Continental breakfast that some have reported herein.
Consequently, I am going to reproduce it in whole sans my name so that all can print it out and present it to the hotel desk clerk to enforce their rights contained therein.
In addition, I am leaving the name and the e-mail address on from the sender so that you may contact them should you wish prior to your stay to nail down some points that I will address below:
Dear Mr XXXXXX,
Firstly may I thank you for taking the time to contact our customer care department with feedback in regards to the Gold Member policy at the St. Pancras Renaissance Hotel. I am disappointed that this issue had affected your perception of Marriott and our hotel in particular. Feedback such as yours is crucial for us to and of the highest importance in order to improve the level of service we deliver and most importantly an opportunity to show that we truly care about our guests.
I have taken note of your points in regards to our Gold Elite membership benefits within our establishment with interest.
Our Chambers Club is unlike a Marriott Executive Lounge but a private members club for our Chambers Guests. As compensation for not having an executive lounge within our premises, we pride ourselves in rewarding our Gold Elite Members a drink and snack option upon arrival, a hearty breakfast daily and a complimentary house beverage nightly.
I understand that this may have caused you some grief, however please be assured that we do our utmost to look after our Marriott Rewards Members and highly appreciate their loyalty.
Thank you again for your feedback, and I hope to be afforded the pleasure of welcoming you to the St. Pancras Renaissance Hotel in the near future. I will personally make sure that you will be looked after and receive all Gold member benefits as listed above.
With kindest regards,
Lisa Horwath

First, the e-mail promises the following:
1). A drink and snack option;
2). A hearty breakfast daily; and
3). A complimentary beverage nightly.
I read the following to include that all of the above are to be supplied to the guest as they use the conjunction "and" and not the word "or."
Should they pass this first clarification, one should contact them to determine that at least one guest will obtain these same benefits as the Gold member, for if that is not the case, then the compensation in lieu of "Club lounge" access is de minimis. In addition, I use the word "Club lounge" instead of the writer's term executive lounge because the terms and conditions of the Marriot rules state members are to have access to "Execuitive/Concierge/Club lounges" and although the writer may term their "Chambers Club" a private executive lounge, to me its "Chambers Club" lounge fits squarely within the defintion of "Club Lounge" access that is to be unresticted to Gold members and their guests. Of course, you are free to continue to argue this point with the hotel, but I will not as my undertaking on behalf of all of you was not for my benefit, but for yours as I doubt that I will stay at the hotel given that there are so many other Marriott and Hilton options in London that permit Gold members lounge or other access.
Finally, the term "hearty breakfast" must be defined for as some have reported, they have received a measly Continental breakfast, and I do not think that that qualifies as a "hearty breakfast" as is attested to in the above, and that most certainly should be provided to at least one other member of the Gold member's room.
For those of you who plan on staying at this property, I think it will behoove you to contact Ms. Horvath to obtain this information in writing and to post it for the benefit of the other members of this forum.
Should you encounter a problem that is contrary of my expectations noted above, pick up your pen and fight for what is due you by way of reasonable compensation in response to this odious form of discrimination that is practiced by this property.
I will be e-mailing this in my reply to Ms. Horvath which I will append below, just so that she is aware of the many questions that I have concerning her above response. (Rest assured, I spell checked the above before sending it to the St. Pancras.)
Should I receive another response, I will certainly keep you informed.

Dear Ms. Horvath,
Thank you for taking the time to promptly address my concerns as listed in the e-mail that was forwarded to you.
Please be advised that I have posted your response in its entirety with the exclusion of my name to protect my privacy rights, on the Flyertalk.com board where your procedures first attracted my attention and caused me to take umbrage with your policy with respect to the denial of lounge access to Gold members.
Although I do not agree with either your definition or interpretation of the "Chambers Club" as a private lounge permissible to bar Gold members as consonant with the terms and conditions of the Marriott Rewards rules governing lounge access, as an attorney, I do appreciate the attempt to bridge the gap and narrow our differences so that Gold members would receive something quite beneficial in lieu of their right to lounge access.
As such, there are a number of terms that I feel require further explanation on your part and I have identified them in my post on Flyertalk.com.
You may respond to my concerns directly to me and I will post your reply on Flyertalk.com, or you may do so directly by joining Flyertalk.com or by having the Marriott representative do this on your behalf, or you may answer such questions as they are received by you at the hotel.
In any event, I appreciate your attempt to come to a better understanding of the many concerns of Marriott's many loyal Gold members who might patronize your hotel.
The post in question with follow immediately below.
Thank you.
Yours sincerely,
XXXXXXXXX, Esq.
