Doubt the miles or the cash upgrades count in the GS qualification, but it will be interesting to see. Anybody know if you can use cash in a Pass Plus account to buy miles/upgrades. If so I may just open a $50k Pass Plus account next year, which I'm told gets you GS automatically.
