Agreed - I have an odd story too, from last season. Rented car in December, got the 11 Vignette in Swiss. Rented a car in May - got the exact same car (same plate) but the Vignette I had stuck on in December had been removed! I can only imagine that Hertz removed it, or another customer tried to steal it!
