It's probably worth asking the GF if you can push the two twins together to get a king. That's pretty common, and it's how the Westin Excelsior handles a King request.
When I clicked through the booking the system guaranteed me a queen, and I am fine with that. Was able to book the two nights I wanted, a Friday and Saturday in May. It was either here or the Cavalieri, and I chose the Marriott for location. I don't expect any upgrades as a Silver, so we'll just go and enjoy being in the heart of things.
