The 27-year-old man, who had been restrained by the plane's flight crew, was arrested by Thunder Bay police after the plane landed and taken to hospital for a medical exam. Police said he is a Portuguese citizen and has a history of mental illness. No charges will be laid.
Police say once he has been cleared medically, he will be allowed to return to Portugal.
