I've got skymiles miles and trying to book an award travel ticket in premium economy from FLL-MEL. I have a cousin who has done this route using miles before so I know it must be possible. I phoned Delta, they said they can only book economy or business with skymiles so I need to phone the Velocity number in Sydney to get a premium economy ticket. I had to wait till Monday morning to phone and was told that they can't book a skymiles ticket but I need to phone Delta. I lost it and asked for a supervisor. He said he will phone Delta and explain and make sure I get the pe ticket with skymiles. So he transferred me to delta and they assured me they will resolve my problem.
74 mins later she told me that she can only book me on economy or business. I then asked for a supervisor and just about cracked it.
Anyone have any suggestions short of giving up using Delta ever again???
