When I called, they told me I did not apply for the Presidential card. I told them the link and followed the link above and it defaults to the Plus card application.
They told me to re-apply using the same link. It still defaults to the plus card
Not fair and no results from Continental
I feel for you and agree that it's not fair. It is a bait and switch.
Unfortunately, Continental won't be able to help you with the card since Chase issues it.
You have to work with Chase. Call them and ask for a manager. You should also write to them using the secure message system.
I suspect that they will tell you that they can't do anything except cancel the card and have you reapply for the Presidential Plus card. They have a policy that states that are not allowed to "upgrade" cards (or increase fees) within the first year.
You might also want to contact the Better Business Bureau or your state consumer protection agency. This is a classic bait and switch, even it was done unwittingly on their part.
On the bright side, you will get a 30,000 mile bonus for the OnePass Plus card and you can still apply for the Presidential Plus, although you should wait at least 30 days.

You should call Hyatt. I also got the card in October, and Hyatt automatically upgraded me within a week or so.
