This entire thread is nonsense. Doug took two airlines that were on the verge of extinction and the laughing stock of the industry to a decent airline with rapidly improving product and service, and positive financial results.
A merger with jetBlue will kill everything that B6 has going for them- the free TV, free snacks, leisure orientation and that bit of "fun" that AA is not known for having. Likewise with AS, their previous mergers with AirCal and Reno shown that they are not interested in having any west coast presence. I can't imagine any of the AS hubs, especially ANC surviving the hypothetical merger.
The best option is still US/AA.
