As someone who flies Malév quite often I, unfortunately, have to contradict this statement. Only about 50% Malév's 737 flights use an airbridge. All flights operated by Dash 8s or the wet-leased EMB-120s stop at the apron far from the terminal building. Once this year I even had to take the bus to the terminal when our 737 was parked at a bridge: our intra-Schengen flight from Barcelona stopped at a bridge connected to T2B (the non-Schengen terminal) - appropriate for its next departure but forcing all the arriving pax to take the bus to T2A (the intra-Schengen terminal).
