Thanks a lot for you guys' great replies. It clears some of my worries.

The only concern is that my friend needs to pay for the second room for company's reimbursement so his name needs to be on the receipt. If he just hands over the second card at check-in, will this affect (1) diamond benefits extended to his room though it is booked by me ; (2) points accural? The situation is a bit worrisome because he does not even have a HH membership so if his room denies my diamond benefits he may need to pay for Internet + breakfast...
