Good idea for thread and 2011 was a good year here. ^

Best thing was taking Little Fruitcake to the CCR for his first time prior to an excellent flight in OF to JNB.

Really there was no worst thing. I know what it was in 2010 - the awful, intransigent service at MIA when the ash cloud first broke, and the total couldn't care less attitude from BA's big cheese there. Meanwhile VS got on with it and treated their passesngers really well across the concourse.

Nothing remotely to match that in 2011. The worst thing I can think of is the several MAN to LGW flights that needed bussing from an international stand which always meant I missed a train and got home about an hour later. Nothing worse than that.
