Hi All,

I have been an aeroplan member for years, but my travel patterns changed over the last few years, and had lost my status or was at the lowest Prestige Tier. I just got to the 35k needed for Elite this week, but when I called Aeroplan today they told me it would most likely not take effect until March of 2012.

In previous years, whether I was Elite (4yrs) or Super Elite (5yrs), I'm quite sure they granted me my status almost immediately within the year.

Does anyone know if this is really the case and there's no way to get my Elite Status effective sooner?
