Reminisce... Best and worst BA travel experiences of 2011

No, no talk of the change in the BAEC programme! We all know each other's opinions by now. This is for those who want to share their best and/or worst experiences in the lounge, on board, during booking, etc. Where did BA shine and where was the experience maybe up for improvement?

My worst experience was seat 4A on a 3 class 777 to BLR. What a coffin seat! To compensate they served very bad food. Arguably one of my least enjoyable flights on BA ever.

My best experience was a much welcomed upgrade to NF back from HKG. The flight was packed (also with UGs in F) and clearly the crew was overwhelmed. They still managed to keep serving with a smile and style. Very enjoyable flight even though I prefer OF.

I also need to mention the people manning the service desk in the FLounge. I always book a 'safe' connection and sometimes I actually arrive early at LHR. So far they always managed to swap me to an earlier flight without any problems no matter how inflexible my ticket. ^

Worst thing (BA-wise) about 2011 is my move to France since this means that I will fly (and have flown) them less.
