I don't see why anyone Blue, Bronze, Silver or Gold would want to take up this offer at a best purchase price of 1.643p/Avios when here:

One could enjoy a best purchase price of 1.287p/Mile.
Unfortunately, that offer expired in May 2011, at the time it was indeed a better deal.

Together with the earlier 30 % bonus referenced above, this latest offer means you can purchase a maximum of 42,200 Avios this year as a SCH or GCH. As I haven't flown since June with BA this is very welcome indeed. Thanks BA! ^
