Right now I am considering the Pullman or the Sofitel Hyland. I am looking for executive/club room or jr./-suite. A executive/club lounge at the property is preferred.
I am Accor Gold, so those any of these honor upgrades?
Both hotels are ok. Not spectacular, but still - ok.

Sofitel Hyland is very centrally located (on Nanjing road) and is a 10-15 minute slow walk to the Bund. The club lounge is pretty nice, but can get pretty busy around the happy hour in the evening. The junior suite is rather small and not too impressive - just make sure you book a club room/suite since there are horror stories about the regular rooms in the hotel... .
Pullman Skyway is much less central (although it was an excellent hotel to stay in during the 2010 Expo in Shanghai, location-wise). The views of this hotel are truly amazing - opt for a high floor room, facing the Expo park. One thing that bothered me in this hotel, though - there was no door nor glass between the bathroom and the bedroom, only a curtain, which was a bit awkward... .
If location isn't an issue and you don't mind staying outside of central Shanghai, go for the Sofitel Sheshan - it's almost 20 metro stations away from Nanjing road, but it's a beautiful resot-like hotel.
All hotels will upgrade you at least one level (assuming there's an availability).
