Would highly recommend the iPhone 4s. The picture quality is absolutely stunning with the 8MP and the quality lens on it. Allows more light into the lens which gives you sharper results. Shoots at f2.4 ap too.

Features like HDR will give you results next best to a decent camera. Adding to this, the app store has many editing apps which will no doubt give you a quality eco all round.
