My rule is get $0.02 or more per mile. Or at least close to that. Given that the dates are over the holidays finding the award at that level is pretty good. IF you do not think you will get more DL miles I would burn them even though it is not the best value.

EDIT for this trip is from Hawaii low award is 40k, the above is low/med 20k+32.5k
