T&Cs call for both rooms on one folio with the intent the member pays for both rooms. Now YMMV, and it might happen. To seal the deal, have your friend pay you and not the hotel, then it's a slam dunk you should get all the points. I'm not sure if your friend does a partial payment on the bill and then you close the bill with your CC if that will circumvent the rules.
