you are right...it's not confidential in the true use of the word, although my address and contact information are on them and I don't want that getting into the wrong hands.

My concern is that I have had problems with manilla envelopes in the past (it was in checked bags), and I was told that they show up as anomalies regardless of what's inside. I'm just concerned because I spent a lot of time and money to get this ready and I know theft is common at FLL (we've heard the horror stories here). I have other stuff of value in the bag that mean a lot more to me on a personal level than the envelopes and the CDs, but at the same time they are my bread and butter and if they are stolen, I am out of luck with my job hunt.

I'm not saying the TSA is a group of thieves but any potential thief would love to have 50 CDs. Of course the joke would be on them when they hear my voice on all 50!

I'm just erring on the side of caution since I'll be going through TSA twice before arriving at the convention (I'm making a pit stop in SAT for some sightseeing).
