Did you miss the multiple reposts of AY's declarations? The ones in which he stated, on behalf of the company, that LMU's would only be offered once the waitlist had cleared?

Me, I have no problem with them trying to sell the J seats rather than give them away. What irks me are the way in which the changes are implemented, stealthily. It's the offering of enticements to fly with them instead of another, and then the removal of those enticements before they can actually be used, without notice.

It's not the end-result policy that is objectively objectionable. It's the bait-and-switch that enrages.
