Listen, with other US carriers you would only be available to upgrade domestically or regionally as a lowly *G, travelling @ least 50K/p.a...... with AC you get to upgrade worldwide for being a *G travelling @ 35K/p.a......

Also, this is not a business contract, just a reward.... If AC wanted to stick to its guns, they can just honor the basic *G benefits instead and have people use mileages to upgrade themselves and increase I inventories along with its LMU program..... without granting all those benefits to E, they might be able to focus a little more quality for their SEs......

Like my recent trips $1200 YYZ-SIN and upgraded both ways.... (actually twice this year)..... of a retail J per-round trip value of $2900 (LMU both ways plus ticket price), $3500 (cheapest Z class) and $5000 (regular J class)......

Not a love fest for AC.... But gotta put things into perspective....
