Hmmm. Hope it's not like when I applied for the MBNA AA card. Useless bunch. Rejected me automatically. Checked my credit file - good. Appealed. They spoke to me, couldn't work out why I was rejected. I suggested splitting my credit limit that I had with another MBNA card and hazzar! It worked. Then they went and set up a new AA Advantage account in my name and wanted me to merge them, saying it was my fault! I told them as it wasn't my fault, it would cost them if they wanted me to fix it. They merged the accounts in the end.
