Ugh, I didn't realize BP had to be printed at the airport at SYD... so no way to avoid the delay. I may have to figure out a better routing, though the refundable ticket idea is good. Probably overkill for just an extra 2-3 hours, though.

They finally opened the checkin counter, where I discovered they had me in a middle seat. So much for AC Elite :/ Best they were able to move me to was 44D. Maybe my upgrade will clear, but not holding out much hope... might turn into a benadryl + earplugs flight
