I'm not sure if the coupons will still be available. I've bought them in the past and according to SAS they are an oddity that is only available in Australia. I've heard of people who are travelling to Australia from Sweden buying an economy class ticket and then sending that ticket to Australia by mail to get the upgrade coupons attached.

An economy class ticket costs around AUD 1815 on SAS. With two upgrade vouchers, that becomes AUD 3065 - about the same as the above fare.

Have I understood you correctly if you could fly SYD-BKK with TG in Economy and then BKK-CPH-MXP in business RT for just around 1840$?
