What makes you & Aluminumdriver so valuable is not just that you spend time here but that you both do a great job of making complex mechanisms & procedures easy to understand. ^
this is all interesting and enlightening stuff. i've always wondered how sudden the jetstream and winds can affect a flight. i've never had to divert flying into SFO, but i've circled plenty of times because of fog or really, really crappy weather. however, i would never say the airline is responsible.
