This devaluation has actually been a good thing for me as a European based member.
I have finally decided to move all my business to Star Alliance. This week I had my first flights on Lufthansa's European business class, and I must say that it was a pleasant surprise. Fantastic catering compared to CE. After Nov 16 I have also booked two long haul trops with LX and OZ that I prevously would have booked with BA/JL (on auto pilot).
And the options I get with *A are ten times better than with OW.
So this change has opened my eyes to the world outside BA and OW.
I am looking forward to trying OZ to Seoul next week.
