My dad got a Chase card a few years back and has been earning points on it ever since. We are about to take a trip now, and I just assumed that the points he has been accruing have been the ultimate reward points, but he is telling me they arent. He has around 200K points, but says he cant use them for airfare, only hotel stays and cashback. Do you know what type of points these would be? Also, would they be worth using for a hotel stay if possible, or is cash just the best option?
You will probably get the most accurate answer if you have your dad call the number on the back of the card and ask the csr, otherwise it's pretty much speculation for anyone else here.
