Very true. This would be closer to the industry norm of advance notice for major award chart increases.
HIDDY - how closely do you follow other FFer programs?
I follow about 25 of them around the world closely.
The industry norm (with occasional exceptions) since FFer programs were created 30 years ago has been to announce major changes ahead of time, allowing members to redeem at the old rate before the negative changes took affect. What BA did is not the FFer program industry standard.
