Taking a page out of USAirways' book, Delta is now offering MQMs (EQMs) direct for purchase. Though an expiration date of Dec 15, 2011 is listed, I suspect this opportunity will become permanent (albeit potentially disabled at certain times of the year, the price changing over time, and various bonus promos offered periodically) because of the site directory location of dn.delta.com/skymiles/ which is where RDM buy/gift/transfer options permanently reside.
