Just gave Amex a call. Asked about the arrival of my CC card arriving. apparently mine was send yesterday from France to my house. So by a bit of luck will receive it this week.

she also claimed that the first batch of cards have been send this week, arriving between now and December 13th.

New members, such as myself, are receiving the cards earlier apparently.
