Well, the *G Lounge Card isn't strictly required as the AP Card has the *G logo on it and your AP number, which is all that is required - however, I do accept (and like) that the Lounge Card is cleaner looking.

FWIW, using the SQ *G Lounge in T3 and with the TG Lounge in T1 caused no questions at all.
