Unlike many others on this board, I prefer to engage in an informed exchange, rather than ill-informed speculation. The rules change entirely when a corporation files for bankruptcy, and those rules may in fact benefit those who conduct business with the bankrupt estate after the filing. For example, lenders to a bankrupt company who provide what's called "debtor-in-possession" financing generally have much greater protections than lenders who lent money prior to the filing.
So I don't know about you, but I'd rather follow the advice of someone who knows what they're talking about. I appreciate
phil_flyer's pointing out that the website is silent, but that doesn't necessarily mean that it's risky to go out and buy gift cards.
