BankDirect awards a flat 5,000 AAdvantage miles for using their VISA CheckCard as described below, but they do not offer any reward tied to the dollar amount of each transaction nor any reward for debit card use thereafter.
In order to receive the one-time 5,000 mileage credit for VisaŽ CheckCard usage, you must use the VisaŽ CheckCard on 12 transactions per statement cycle for 3 consecutive months from a BankDirect Mileage Checking Account. The one-time 5,000 mileage credit is paid out after you have reached the minimum 3 consecutive month requirement. To receive mileage credit, contact BankDirect Client Support to notify us that you have met the minimum qualifications. Please allow 6 to 8 weeks for the miles to post to your AAdvantageŽ account.
Mileage awards are part of a marketing program designed to attract customers who choose BankDirect for their ordinary day to day operating account. The program requirements are easily reached by any customer with normal purchases and bill payment. We reserve the right to deny mileage requests for any obvious attempts to meet the technical requirements of the program without normal activity.
