What many posters seem to be forgetting is that BA is NOT buying BD. It is BAs owner the IAG that is doing so and buying the BD shares.

So all speculation about DC transfer is just that until any details about the IAG deal are published.

In reality we could see DC carrying on on a stand-alone basis (unlikely I agree) and then the DC miles becoming Avios miles.
