Last trip, I got socked with a Y2,150 per person cover charge at a bar associated with an Italian restaurant in Roppongi Hills -- it was upstairs above a fancy clothing store roughly across the street from the TV station building. The charge wasn't posted anywhere that I saw and never mentioned until the bill came, plus drinks weren't at all cheap. I did pay it but will never go back. That was a first for me -- not a nightclub, no live entertainment, just looked like a large-ish restaurant bar.

Guess no matter how many times you visit a city, you still can get ripped off!
