Question,
I have a trip coming up (AMS - MEL).
Couple months ago I flew in J. Had a 10 hour layover in DXB, slept at the airside hotel and went straight to MEL which was a pleasant flight.
Now I wanna book in F but I have to make a decision.
AMS DXB MEL (10 hour lay over in DXB, decent arrival time in MEL)
or
AMS DXB KUL MEL. Arrival time isn't great here, but will use limo service to family.
Trip back will book MEL DXB AMS.

I'd personally prefer spending less time waiting around DXB airport. I also have to sleep on arrival so I think I'd even prefer the 2am arrival of the KUL flight which will allow me to sleep a few hours till the morning vs the ~7am arrival of the nonstop.
