Most of us who post on this topic are very serious travelers (many are required to travel for their jobs) and have gone through many luggage failures and past favorites that we now view as not up to the task of modern travel.
We are honest in our own opinions and sometimes differ among ourselves, but are always open to helping people who ask good questions.
Some of us have enough luggage to start a shop. I've been giving away my severly old style luggage to shelters as most people arrive in shelters with nothing and depart with all they own in trash bags.
