Not sure many people will be over excited about this (especially that we still do not earn any FB miles on the SIN-MNL-HKG / POM route) but it has been all over The National newspaper for over a week now.

I personally continue to prefer flying via Australia when I need to go to PNG or if I go via Singapore it is on a separate ticket that at least earns some OneWorld airmiles (via my QF account).
