Usually for BLR you’re issued an invite for the lounges at check-in. The staff can be quite confused if you turned up without one (not that they won't let you in). Mind you there really isn’t that much to it anyway.

If you have that amount of time I suggest go into the city for a bit as it's not the best airport to kill time, lounge or no lounge.
