I have rented, bought, sold, both motorcycles and scooters in Thailand over the years. I have been the one renting, and also the one who rents to others. I have crashed and been ripped off on repairs. But usually, either as a rentor or rentee, things are trouble free.

I am willing to share my experience on renting scooters, maintenance, transfer of title, drivers licences, etc.

However, the reason for me posting this thread is to accumulate information on Renting A Car in Thailand. I have driven friends cars, but have never rented a car/truck in Thailand. I would like to ask the board's help putting together a guide, or at least snippets of experience to help myself and others.

Any experience is welcome.....
