I don't think it is fair to leave a long time contributor and esteemed member of this community twisting in the wind.

At least the heat is being contained here. Most FT threads are still providing entertainment, useful information, opportunities to meet socially etc. etc. In the totality, FT is still a positive experience.

It is very much like a family so we can expect the odd fireworks. Name me one family where there is not disagreement or anger at some point.

Normally, we do not have to resort to this type of tactic. Hopefully, the requisite apology (of some sort) will come and we can all move on.

By net standards, this board is still a joy.
