I hope that Emirates training is up to par (they have a lot of US, Australian & British pilots AFAIK, but Cathay has a lot higher percentage?). In good hands, the Boeings allow are a lot more safety than the Airbus.

The 777-200LR, possibly with the exception of the 747-8, is the greatest passenger aircraft ever made. This is a nice move by Emirates, but I still won't be flying Emirates.
May I ask you why you won't fly on the new AA airbus and emirates and why does the nationality of a pilot matters in terms of safety?
